Bio:

Dr. ZHANG, Mingxing is a tenure-track assistant professor at Tsinghua University. His research interests include distributed systems and new hardware technologies. He has published more than twenty papers in leading conferences and journals, such as OSDI, SOSP, ASPLOS, HPCA, FSE, VLDB, ATC, and EuroSys. He has been honored with the SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award and received the best doctoral awards from both IEEE TCSC and SIGOPS China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2017. Before rejoining Tsinghua in 2022, he served as the chief algorithm expert and head of the Sangfor Innovation Institute at Sangfor Technologies, a foremost global vendor specializing in Cloud Computing.
