Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects
Embedded Multimedia Processing, including video coding technology, computer vision optimizationon embedded system, embedded software and Internet of things.
Research Status
In video coding area, my research work focus on the novel algorithm which can compress the video data more efficiently, and also some works in the transcoding, parallel video coding and parallel decoding.
In order to implement the-state-of-art computer vision algorithm in embedded system, I try to optimize the performance both from the algorithm level and system level. In-door localization with CV is also my research interesting.
For embedded software, I research on its real-time, security and power management.
I am interesting in design various IoT(Internet of Things) terminal with different embedded platform, e.g. ARM, X86 or FPGA.
